We are seeking a contractor for at least a 6 month engagement, with a combined expertise in Workday Financials Security Architecture AND Administration. Remote work is acceptable, however the contractor will be expected to come on-site in Des Moines once a month for 3-5 days at a time. This person will be re-architected security solutions that are already in place. Assess current state and re-architect solutions.
- Key Responsibilities:Architecture: Defining System Vision: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into a comprehensive system architecture
- Security Configuration: Re(Architect) & maintain custom security groups, roles, domains, and policies within Workday
- Access Management: Provide daily support for security issues, including access troubleshooting and permission modifications
- System Administration: Collaborate with the business areas to ensure that security configurations are up to date and working as needed
- Support and Troubleshooting: Offer production support for support tickets and provide analytical assistance to resolve security-related issues
- Workday Reporting: Partner with key stakeholders to understand Workday Reporting requirements and align to the data security model for the purpose of providing a consistent security model across applications
- Project Management: Lead medium to high complexity security initiatives and production support requests
- Required Skills and Qualifications:Technical Expertise: Proficiency in managing business and financial operations within a construction services or similar environment
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex systems and workflows, and develop effective solutions
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills to convey technical concepts in business terms
